Simple bottle.  Doesn't confuse me with a bunch of words and stories.

Open er' up: Not bad, average IPA.  I'm not much of an IPA guy so I can't get too excited.  However, it's still a beer and I finished it.  For that, I give it 2 out of 5.

I first had one of these bad boys in September. I wish I could say that it was because I had read good reviews or had a recommendation from a friend, but I can’t. I have been in and out of Belmont and Chalet Party Shoppes a lot and I always noticed this beer because it comes in a four pack and is priced waaaaaay over other IPAs. It got me thinking “hey, this must be the game ender, the Lambo of IPAs!”

I finally gave in and bought a four pack, dug in and did a little research. The hops come from New Zealand, it’s then brewed in Scotland and then imported here. So this bottle has logged some serious mileage before it hits your lips.

Worth it?

Only, and I mean only if you’re an IPA enthusiast. If you are then bold, bright flavors await you. It is hella crisp and has that awesome dry hoppy aftertaste you expect with an IPA. One of the better ones I have tried. I was pretty happy to see this was one of the selections from the Beer Club this week. If you like what hits your lips, BrewDog has several other outstanding beers (Hardcore IPA is another amazing choice) and they have a TV show on the Esquire Network that premiered here in the States in the Fall.

If you’re not an IPA drinker or a bit on the fence, this ride isn’t for you hombre!

9/10
